If you couldn't find the service type that you were looking for, why not add a new one. It's simple and easy.
Adding a new service type
Step 1. Go to <Service and Maintenance> module on main menu.
Step 2. Go to <Service/Renewal types>
Step 3. Choose 'Service Type' from the drop down as in the following screenshot. You get to see all the service types created so far.
Step 4. Click on 'Add New' link from right hand side panel of the page and you get a pop-up as followed.
Step 5. Define the new service type with details viz., Name, description, category and frequency.
Step 6. Save the new service type and you're done. Now, you could schedule reminder for the newly created service type.
Tips:
- Periodic frequency can be defined on the basis of time, mileage or both depending on the nature of service type.
- Frequency of engine hours is applicable for those heavy equipment types which operates on the basis of engine hours instead of odometer readings.
